CTV-21 Update 4/29

This is a short post to remind everyone that there are still a couple of positions available for the 2 studio shoots next week: (Again, this is just an opportunity to sharpen skills, these shows are created by local producers who have allowed us to post them for interns. We are not "urging" you to sign up, we are merely stating the opportunity.) If you want to sign up for any production please call the office 203-3040-4050. Posting a comment to volunteer is appreciated, but we may not be able to acknowledge it.

• "Rabbi Rock" This is a religious public affairs program that has been with us for several years. The topics cross over many faiths and feature people in the local community. We are seeing his crew dwindle over the years, and the time has come to post these tapings for interns. They only require about 3-4 interns, but it is a great way to sharpen your skills and accumulate hours. Next Taping is Monday, May 4th from 3 -6pm.

• "Brookfield Knights of Columbus" This is a small group from a Brookfield chapter that is trying to get their show off the ground. They could use a few interns to augment their ranks. Next taping is Tuesday May 5th at 7pm.

The truck shoot could use a couple more volunteers (Now we are "Urging")

• "Jane Ryan Elementary Circus" This is a mobile truck taping of a circus performed by the students of Jane Ryan Elementary School in Trumbull. The daytime hours make this a challenge to fill crew positions, but we pulled it off last year and hope to once again. Crew call is 9:30am for a 1pm taping on Wednesday May 6th.

For the week of 5/11

• there will be a taping of "Local Edition" on May 12th. We are still confirming guests at this time so please call to check.

• A taping of the education series "A White Board on Education" will be taping May 13th. Crew call is approximately 2:30pm. There is no sign up posted yet, again please call the office to sign up.
